Periodically new materials become available and we are always keen to test these to understand their properties and potential benefits. Our philosophy is to thoroughly push these but they have to offer something special that will stand the test of time. Over a period of 18 months we have tested three such new carbons and were very impressed with the performance and properties of a material with the code C626.
We have always offered shorter rods in each range to compliment the longer carp rods and recently these have become popular as main carp rods due to the convenience and fun of using 10’ rods which offer better leverage at distances up to 80 yards or so. These are available in 2 test curves with the choice of full cork or abbreviated builds and can also be custom built. Cork versions feature a Clone seat with isotope slot made from the same carbon as the rod whilst abbreviated handles have a Fuji TVSM cut-out seat but since these can be custom built these fittings can be changed.
The 10’ 2¾lb model come with black framed ‘S’-Lite guides with starting guide 30mm and the 10’ 3¼lb has the choice of 30mm or 40mm butt guides.
Matching SPM (Spod / Marker rods) and landing nets are available in the ‘S’-Lite materials.

All ’S’-Lite models can be customised to individual requirements at a small additional cost.
Blank and rod weights may vary slightly from those quoted. We use stainless steel collars and butt caps for durability which will add a little to the rod’s overall weight but being on the handle should not adversely affect its balance.
